MARKHAM MOVES
Markham Museum, 2019-2023
7000 square foot exhibition about transportation technology and the science of movement.
I was the sole designer on a small development team with the objective of creating an accessible and engaging experience for museum visitors.
A key design goal was to animate the open gallery space using scale, colour, and illustration. The palette was an expansion of primary colours, applied to a racing flag, and a series of repeating transportation icons throughout the space.
My role included all exhibit text writing, panel and label layout, illustration, wayfinding, information design, gallery floorplan, and interactive module design.
SPOKANE AIRPORT GATE PILLARS
Series of vector illustrations created to celebrate many of the cultural and natural wonders of the Spokane Region in Washington State.
Finished illustrations were rendered as ink-filled etchings on illuminated metal, which adorn several of the airport's arrival and departure gate pillars. Each are accompanied by text that explores the story and significance of the featured landmark.
